Proper use of steps/methods and scientific maintenance is an effective way to keep the equipment in good condition and prolong the service life of hammer head. If the use and maintenance is improper, it is not only easy to cause equipment failure, such as vibration, noise, heating, wear and tear, but also will inevitably lead to the reduction of the service life of the hammer head. The hammer crusher should pay special attention to the following points in daily use and maintenance:

 1) according to the design model, appropriate control feed size, strictly prohibited beyond the design maximum size of the material man-machine. 

2) select suitable feeding equipment, such as plate feeder or vibrating feeder to feed, to ensure uniform and stable feeding, to avoid the impact of uneven feeding on the equipment and invalid operation. 

3) due to the quality error of hammer head casting, the hammer head should be inverted and turned over on time according to the current during the use of the hammer head, so as to make the hammer head uniform wear and rotor running balance. 

4) the replacement of the new hammer, it is best to weigh, according to the mass average divided into several groups, the quality requirements of each group is equal, otherwise the rotor imbalance is easy to cause vibration when the machine is turned on.
